What do I need to bring to my DCJS qualification?
You must bring your duty weapon, minimum 3 magazines, duty belt/holster, eye and ear protection, and 150 rounds of factory ammunition. No reloads permitted.
How long does the Handgun 101 class take?
Handgun 101 is a comprehensive 4-hour course: 2 hours of classroom instruction covering safety and fundamentals, followed by 2 hours of live-fire range time.
Are your certifications valid outside of Virginia?
Our primary certifications are through the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS). We also offer NRA certifications which are nationally recognized. Please consult your specific agency or state board for reciprocity details.
Do you offer private or agency-specific training?
Yes. We can tailor our Executive Protection curriculum to meet the specific SOPs and operational requirements of your agency or detail.
